:hello: I do not know even how to start to install a screensaver. My knowledge of computer language and technology is slim at best but I have screensavers in my file and would like to know how to install them.

Download the screensaver file to your desktop. The file may vary depending on where you download it from. Be careful to only download from trusted and reliable sources.

Install the screensaver. If it is a .zip file, simply unzip it and run the executable file which will take you through an install process. If your screensaver appears in an .scr or .dll format, you'll need to put it in the System directory. Open "My Computer," open the C drive, navigate to "Windows," then "SYSTEM." Paste the .scr or .dll file in that folder, and it will become available.

Change your desktop by accessing the Screen Saver menu. Right-click in a blank area of your desktop then select "Properties." In the dialog box that appears, click on the "Screen Saver" tab. Choose your screensaver from the list of those available in the drop-down menu, adjust any settings specific to that screensaver, then click "OK."
