Undervolting on MA785GMT-UD2H - RAM vs. CPU

Forum Overclocking : Chipsets & Bios Undervolting on MA785GMT-UD2H - RAM vs. CPU

Greetings -

Just upgraded my X2 Regor 250 to an X6 1090T.
(Lightroom was just too pokey -- now it's fine.)

Board is the Gigabyte MA785GMT-UD2H.

I've modestly undervolted the CPU .15v -- so far, so good.

I had to up the RAM multiplier from 6 to 8 get the board
to use the RAM at its rated 1600, rather than 1333.

Is that why the DDR is at 1.6v, rather than 1.5?
The BIOS seems only to allow one to increase the RAM voltage.
Any way to get the voltage back down (other than a new board)?

Here are the readouts at idle.
(It seems that the core multiplier automagically drops to 4.)

and at load (exporting several dozen photos from Lightroom) --
turbo mode has kicked in - note the 18 (rather than 16) multiplier:

Default system and turbo core technology mode on like that , when idle cool n quite active automatically save your system voltage / drop, if fulload will raise and turbo core can get 3.6ghz .. So what's the problem ? It's fine and working.

I'd like to know why the RAM is at 1.6v, rather than the spec'd 1.5v.

Yep it depend on your motherboard, all motherboard had different to supply ram while the ram same spec.
if you do not get problem .. It's fine and good
Exc : I had Ta890gxe , my ram 1.5 in label when check in mobo get voltage at 1.58V.
