Hello,
I had to install a new mobo and decided to use an AMD Phenom X4 9850 2.5GHz with it.

But using CPUZ it says it's running at 1250.1 MHz (1.25GHz ?) and I need to know if it's possible to change the BIOS to these numbers using a ASUS M4A785-M mobo with 3Gb RAM.

It just does not recognize the CPU with all the BIOS updated by ASUS.

Note: this is not a black edition .

Thanks, Ron

it's seem normal and all system default like that , decrease in clock speed due to the features CPU speed throttling and power saving technology ( Cool n Quite ) stil auto / active . example in the idle system open small program your speed 1.25GHz if you open game or strong Software your speed will fulload at 2.5GHz
