Hello,

Does anybody know if it is possible to make a cgi film using the movementsof real people? The people I would like to make into cgi characters have already been filmed by camera and I would like to turn these specific movements into cgi.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes, check lord of the rings Gollum for a start,
They put pingpong ball type markers on a suit, the actor moves and cameras record the balls, then a computer is used to generate whatever image they want using the ballmarkers for reference points of movement.
cant be more help that that, Im tired and must sleep :P
