I don't know whether the version of Excel they bundle with Works is the full version but in my Excel from OfficeXP has tabs in the bottom left hand corner - Sheet 1 Sheet 2 Sheet 3 and you can add them at will from the Insert Worksheet menu. Do you not see those tabs?

It will be a reduced version. I don't know if it will do pages, but can think of no reason why not.

Works was intended for general home/small office use, whereas the full Office was intended for large office and corporate usage. This implies that the full Office programs will have additional features that the Works programs would lack. I highly doubt that multiple pages in Excel would be one of the disabled features - then again, all the software companies that do it for profit make a habit of that.

Personally, I just use Openoffice. That package is virtually idiot-proof, has all of the necessary functions and features a sane person would want, and does not come at a high cost. Your mileage may vary...

There's no need for free trial downloads of OpenOffice - just go to http://www.openoffice.org and download it .- free - forever! :D

In my version of Works the Excel application is a cut down, single spreadsheet page version. I do own Microsoft Office 2007 Home & Student, but have given up using it entirely, in favour of Open Office. Open Office Calc, does anything that Excel can do, and its free. I also like the look of its graphs better.

The best place to get Open Office is direct from openoffice.org, and not from websites that pretend to be giving you a gift of something that's free anyway, so that they can add their own junk.
