Hello,
I have an old Sound Blaster Live!card for XP..Will it work in Windows 7 as the newer Sound Blaster x-Fi Xtreme Audio card that came on my new computer does not have a stereo mix that enables you to play music into a chat room like Paltalk. New system is 64 Bit.

Since the release of Vista, Creative's support has simply been horrible. It took them a year to release drivers for Vista, and then they were simply generic drivers that had no feature set available. I tossed my x-Fi in the trash finally and gave up on Creatives lack of support for their products. It seems that they don't even want to be in the sound card business any longer. But as I say over and over, the best place to go look for drivers is the Manufactures website, (Creative) but I would not get my hopes up.
Honestly, what motherboard do you have? Onboard sound from any modern motherboard would be far superior to your old Soundblaster Live (and very likely the x-Fi card as well)
