Hey everyone, just need some advice on upgrading to a blu ray drive for my laptop. I’m looking at upgrading to an LG slim CT10N drive.

Laptop: Sony VGN-CR420E (upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista)
It’s almost 3 years old and I don’t know if it up to the task of playing blu rays.

(don’t know if this is important or not)

Any help would be much appreciated.

As long as that drive is compatible with your laptop, it would work fine for watching blu-ray movies on your screen.
