Hey guys,

I was looking at upgrading my laptops current HDD, a 5400RPM 250GB drive, to an SSD. I don't need too much storage but I do need some space so a 128GB drive will suffice. I just want some recommendations on which drives will give me the most bang for my buck.

I've been looking at the Kingston SSDNow V Series Notebook BUndle because of its fair price and the software to migrate all my existing stuff, but I've noticed that it's not as fast as some other drives on the market. Do any of you know of any drives that would give me faster performance for around the same price? Also, how much of a speed increase will I notice upgrading from my current drive?

Thanks for the help!

EDIT: Oh, one more thing. Should I just wait for the new generation of SSD's to come out? A lot of people are saying they will be better, faster, more reliable, etc. If so, when are they going to be released? I need this SSD soon....
