SoundBlaster Audio 2z5
2 gigs pc6400 800mhz corsair XMS2 ram

A cheap PSU can take out your MB and CPU when it blows. Don't look for "cheap" on this part of your computer.

You can easily get by on 500W, but look for a Coasair, Antec, Seasonic, Fortron or OCZ.

The psu you referenced is a tier 5 unit on this list:
http://www.eggxpert.com/forums/thread/323050.aspx

A 3870 requires a 450w psu with one 6 pin pci-e connector.

Quality units come from PC P&C, Seasonic, Antec, and Corsair to name a few. There are others.

How about the Corsair 450VX?:

I'm looking for under $50 =-(

what do you guys think about http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817153052

$35 after rebate normally $70

I'll want to pick up one with SLI/Crossfire support but not untill i get a 2nd video card and who know when that will happen, for my current setup i shouldnt need SLI or Crossfire support right?

Also I've been looking at 500wats, can i use a 450 and be fine ?
