Installed new MaxOrb Ex cooler on Q9450.the cores have different temp.

I installed the new MaxOrb Ex in my PC..
Now two cores reading 34C and the other two 26C..

I removed the cooler and it's still same..

Should I reinstall the later completely.

With the Intel HSF all the cores had about the same temperature and was idle at 34-38C...

That's normal. As long as all cores stay under 60c under load, you're fine.

Yes but it's kinda weird that... could it be a contact problem with the CPU.. The CPU is in fact the Q9550.
