USB Printer and Edimax Print Server

Forum Wireless Networking : Setup, Configuration & Security USB Printer and Edimax Print Server

I have an Edimax 3G wireless router with print server. connected to this router is a huawei 3G USB modem, a USB printer, 1 computer, and various laptops on wifi.

Recently, my Brother DCP120C that has been working flawlessly with the router died. I can print from any aforementioned laptops with ease. I upgraded my PC and my laptops to Windows 7, and everything works fine.

Since my Brother printer died, I bought an Epson TX300F and connected it to the router also via USB. I deleted Brother's old settings and installed the Epson in the same fashion I installed the Brother.

Unfortunately, the printer works only for one job. After printing out a test from Word, I can't print subsequent documents. The printer shows up as offline and Epson status monitor shows that there's a "communication error" with the printer.

Restarting doesn't help. I disabled SNMP and bidirectional communication. I tried both LPR and IPP settings for the router. All without success.

Is there anyone who can help me with this? I'd really appreciate it!
