Hello everyone..

I want to be as short as possible now. I've got a computer that i build yesterday. And it wont start.. This is my first real computer that im building, the last time i build a computer was with my friend, but this time it's on my own.


- Antec Sonata III Miditower, Svart m/500W Nätaggregat

Doesnt it turn on at all, or does it turn on and then shuts down or something else?

start with general troubleshooting. Remove all parts not vital for operation and boot again (leave one stick of ram, remove extra drives and cd-r, audio cards, network cards). check that all parts are properly connected and then start by checking each part alone. Is the power supply ok? is the Hdd spining? maybe the vga card is DOA? try using a second computer to check the components one by one. maybe the board is shorting out (has happened many times before). remove everything from bow and re-install.

Try all this and you're bound to find the problem.

Did you actually attach the power switch properly to the motherboard?
Did you plug in the power from the psu to the motherboard?
Are there any signs of power actually reaching your computer?
