Hi

There seems to be power on the whole motherboard. The cpu fan is running, the cd tray opens and the hard drive i can hear some noise. The video card fan (8800 gt) is spinning. But no beeps and no screen on monitor. I cant' get to the bios screen but a blank screen.

Also my Led lights are not on, I try the Asus q connector didnot work and I try plugging into boards also didnot work. The Hd light and power light are not on.

Is there anything I am leaving out?

Anyone has any suggestion what i can try?

Thanks for reading and helping out

Sounds like you didn't get the case connections set up right.

Also, you should have two power connections to the motherboard. A 24 pin one, and another 4 pin one near the CPU.

Did you connect the power to the 8800GT?

Thanks Proximon

I found the 4 pin connector.

Is the power Led above the HDD Led in the Asus Q connector or the panel?

As still not getting power led.

Thanks again for the help.

Those should all be clearly labeled in both the case and the Q connector. If the Q connector is seated properly on the board and everything is plugged into it the way the labels say, then I would guess the LED is bad.

thanks, I guess the led is bad, I could live without it.

I installed window visita and everything was fine until now I install the EVGA 8800 GT drivers as Visita has it as a standard VGA display.

But now the 8800 gt fan would turn on really loud and won't boot and then shut down the PC. I press a button on keyboard and it will repeat but will not boot again.

i tried installing the pci e connector with the 3 pin connectors it included and still result was the same.

Any suggestions on what i can do next?

Thanks again.
