Hi, newbie here.. how do you know which power supply will work with your choice of mobo, graphics card, etc.? I want to order this PC Power & Cooling - it has a 6pin GPU connector.. very confused!

That PSU will easily work with those components with no problem and PC Power is a quality brand. Make sure that you choose a case that will handle it.

Were you wanting to run two of those cards?

The Matrox does not need the power connector from the PSU, it does not need that much power.

The PSU you mention is a very good one, but it's probably more than you need.

I do not see the power requirements listed at Matrox. I do know that PCI-E is limited to 150W... So that is a max of 300W between the two cards.

The best PSU is PCPower and cooling. Yes for you right now it is overkill. But you will be able to use it in another build later down the road.
The price is unbeatable, so get it.
