this is my first time building my own computer. This computer im building for myself is for mostly for gaming and school. I'm buying mostly all my stuff at newegg. OK here's what i have.

I can't say I would endorse that.

When you get your 3 9800GTs all SLI'd, you'll have the same performance you would have got from 2 4850s, or even less. Plus you'll be on a far less stable chipset.

the thing is i don't really like ATi that much... im much a nvidia fan.. lol..

i decided that i might get only 2 gpu 9800gt or gtx 280...

should i get 2 or 4gb ram.. i want my computer to be fast...

You can have a fast stable computer or a buggy slow one. It's your cash :)

If you like to game more than anything else I would suggest going with a faster clocked Core 2 Duo. E8400 or better and forget the 3 way SLI unless you like to waste money. Crossfire 4850 would be better.
