This question is killing me...

Right now I have an E8400 in a P5N-D with a pair of 8800GTs.

Would it be a nice move if I upgrade my 8800GTs to one or maybe two GTX260s? Will the extra ~600 USD be really worth it?

I play mostly FPS on a 24" 1900x1200 monitor and everything seems to be running pretty fine (except the infamous Crysis).

Also, I have 4 SATA HDs, two DVD Burners, 8Gb RAM and a X-Fi plugged in this system in an Antec 900 with a BFG 800W PSU? If I switch to a pair of GTX260 will my PSU handle it? According to www.slizone.com it will not, but I am not sure if I should really trust that site, given the fact that they're saying that a BFG ES-800 PSU would handle the SLI GTX260.

Thanks in advance for your opinion!

I'd say it's not worth it.

How could I go from the king of RockN'Roll to this

Well, you mighnt get better minimum framerates, especially in games like Lost planet that don't seem to like multi-card setups. But overall I don't think it's worth it. If you're not going to go with dual 280s then I don't think you have a need to upgrade. Just wait till the next generation comes out.
