i would get a better processor to drive that 4870x2. get a e8500 if you main focus is on the best gaming performance possible. or if you want to stay with a quad core get a something between a q9400-q9550 whatever your budget allows. plus be ready to oc so those processor so they dont bottleneck the videocard.

if you want the video card to run good your going to have to overclock and if you want to, get faster ram like ddr1066

get a aftermarket cpu cooler http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6835233003

why are you getting a 4870x2? what size monitor are you playing on? it sounds a little overkill a 4870 can do a 24inch monitor on high setting in all games theirs no need for a graphics card this powerful for most setups.

but it does give you bragging rights

i think you better get the Q9550 its great value for money now and everything should get multithreaded very soon.soon after nehalem's launch, intel will want all developers to make multithreaded applications.as people buy softwares and games for Nehalem so they will move into quad optimisation very quick. forget about the E8500 now its not good now when you klook into the near future.

I still stand by my Mayonaise Theory...........

Definately a save some money and get just a 4870, and spend teh savings on a better CPU. 9550 sounds like the right choice.

Well, first about the VGA, i have a 22' samsung SyncMaster T220, 2ms-20000:1 . I Just was thinking about the x2 coz i thought that the single core and only 512mb 4870 won't be running the new games fast and at full graphics. So you suggesting me a Radeon HD 4870, ok i'll re think about it Thanks :)

now about the CPU, at my country prices are kinda high, for example the
Q6600 = € 140
E8500 = € 155
Q9550 = € 400 ( that's too much for me )
That's mainly the reason i pick up the q6600, coz it was in the more reasonable price. comment ?

Also what you have to say about the MoBo and the rest of the build ?
