Hello guys!!! Another "help me build my rig" sigh... i know .. i know , I had to scrap my last list, I'm sorry, but like most of the people that post here, I wouldn't be here If i I didn't need professional help :wahoo:

Here's the deal... I'm building a gaming pc, hoping to get help on one that will last me awhile and still be a competitor into today's higher demanding games.
Here are the parts I need:
CPU / GPU / MOBO / PSU / Case / RAM/ HD /

I have a $900-1000 budget, but if I can spend less then that is a huge plus for me.
I'm not sure if i should get crossfire, if it is worth it for a build in this $ range, hope you guys can help...
Anyways here are the parts I am thinking of getting as we speak, If you guys can tweak any of these using www.tigerdirect.ca by all means go ahead if you want :D

Asus® P5Q-E Green, Socket 775, Intel® P45 Chipset w/ PCI Express x16 (ATX) $169.99
Corsair™ 4Gb PC6400 XMS2 DDR2 TwinX Matched Pair Series (TWIN2X4096-6400C5) $109.99
Intel® Core™2 Duo E8400, 3.00-GHz @ 1333Mhz w/ 6Mb Cache (Socket 775) (Retail Box) w/ Heat Sink & Fan $179.99
Asus® Radeon EAH4850/HTDI/512M - Radeon™ HD4850 VPU w/ 512Mb DDR3& PCI Express 2.0 (Retail Box) $214.99($30.00 Mail in rebate)
320GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 SATAII-300 7200RPM 16Mb OEM $59.99
CoolerMaster® CM690 ATX Case (Black) $79.99

Before I forget to mention this... I game on a 17" monitor for now and run winxp 32bit.
THANKS A BUNCH ahead of time guys, any input would be appreciated. Cheers.

Ya that's an acceptable PSU. Not as future proof as the Corsair, but it will certainly run the current rig fine, and PROBABLY accommodate the second 4850 at some future date.

You'll probably upgrade to a 22" widescreen next ;)

Alright thank you, good to hear.. as I don't want to risk buying that psu and finding out with wont crossfire properly. But like i say if i can butter the extra money i will get the tx750...
And yes the 22" will be next
