Hi all,
In advance thank you all for your help.
I have been asked to build a New computer for my father. It will be used for surfing the interwebz keeping track of his and his small business finances, along with a very light photoshop editing.
I will not be OC this box because it is for my father who is about has tech savie has a rock.

Hard Drive? OS?

You cant just drop the old HDD in and go, it dont work like that. If you use the ol one you will need to reformat it, and loose everything on it.

Others will lie and tell you work arounds but your dad needs stable and reliable so dont listen.

and OS is xp 32 bit

he is planing on keeping the same keyboard and mouse unless someone can recommend a good wireless keyboard and moue combo for under $40 dollars ish and this would be additional to the $ 350 budget
