I want to get the AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400+ Brisbane 2.8GHz Black Edition processor with the MSI K9N2 SLI Platinum but i'm not sure if they're compatible. I checked MSI's cpu support and it didn't have the black edition for this mobo, but it did say that the non black edition was compatible. So I don't know if it is compatible or not. If it isn't does anyone have any suggestions for another cpu?

It should work. Most likely MSI just didnt update the support list.

If it supports other Brisbanes, I'm sure it'd support the BE.
