I just ran the COD4 demo on my crossfire 4850's on all max settings possible on 1900x1200. I was expecting to get up in the 120's like everyone says they are getting in crossfire with these cards but i was only getting around 50-60 fps. Is this just because its the demo or is something wrong?

Not sure, my 9800GX2 handles COD fine by itself...could be the demo, but i'm not sure.

Do you have v-sync on? That limits the game to match your moniters refresh rate, and could be the problem.

No v-sync isn't on i don't think the demo even has that feature.

I don't think the demo is as optimized as the full game, also what are the rest of your specs?

Are you sure crossfire is enabled in CCC?

yes it is and i checked in gpu z to see if it was.

somethings wrong... my single 8800 gts 640 handles 1920 by 1200 in the single player at max w/ 4aa in the upper 100s... in multi player its handily 90 +

thogrom could you try running the demo an telling me ur results please?

you might have v sync enabled in ccc

Thats impressive for that thing at 1680x1050 with 2x AA I still hit 60 FPS sometimes when playing. Mine is for some reason capped at 90 for max, so my gameplay is in between 60 and 90 fps when playing CoD 4. This is for the system in the sig running Vista Ultimate 32bit.
