Ok, So I purchased a bunch of new computer components from newegg.com the other day and something just hit me. Wil the power supply I ordered work with the graphic cards requirements? I'm new to PCI-E (upgrading from AGP) and am not too sure how the ratings work. Heres the card I ordered http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814130368 says it needs a 6 Pin / 8 Pin power connector the power supply I purchased is here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817139006 which says it has 4 x 6+2Pin connectors.

The graphics card has a a brick of six and a brick of eight power connections on the top. Does the 6+2Pin mean it can be used as an eight and use another 6 for the other connection? Hope that all makes sense, thank you to anyone in advance that wants to take a stab at this!

it takes 2x 6 OR 8 pin connectors. meaning it has 8 pin, but it can take 6. You'll just use 2 of the 6+2 connectors to make 8, and fill 'er up. no problem.

The CorsairTX at 750W that you linked to is one great piece of hardware! Good choice..

Thanks for the reply's. Should be getting everything tonight, I also noticed in the picture that there is an 8 pin connector, looks like two six pins plug into it. I think it's the same thing as the adapter I linked to. I'll let you guys know if there are any issues. Thanks again!
