hey i was just messing around in the nvidia control panel and i enabled 16xQAA and 16xAF and i ran crysis fps is around 27-34fps and it looks really good and all very high setting (no aa in game) only on control panel "override". the game looks even better now because of the 16aa and 16af override and also its playable.

with my previous setting i got 30-40fps on dx10 1680x1050 4aa, vsync enablad, all very high.

well i took those settings off i just turned on 8aa on the game and it runs fine it looks just a lil better. i just realized in the control panel 16aa+af all it does make it look like 4aa setting if u were to enable it in the game. so its not to much off a jump. with 8aa in the game setting enabled i get 20low 25avg 35high fps its annoying for some ppl to play with those fps but it looks fine to me slight lag here and there not big deal. my rig:

Personally I find playing Crysis at any fps incredibly annoying.

20-35fps isnt terrible compared some console games... gtaIV is known to drop as low as 10fps during gameplay....ouch

I think you should be the one proving how you managed to hook up 2 video cards which require 4 pci-e 6pin connectors to a power supply that only has 2 pci-e 6pin connectors, especially when the antec 500 EW only has 2 12v rails at 17A each.

well my cards came with a adapter: 2 4pin molex connector to 1 6pin pcie look at evga site comes with 2 of those cables. i dont no wat i would get out of lying. dont believe me fine i could care less. i got it to run and i didnt have to buy a new 1000w psu like ppl say to get which is overkill. i saved some money my goal was accomplished.

Yes, I know it does; but thats really quite aside the point. You should not lead people to believe that a 500 watt power supply with 34 combined 12v amps is sufficient for an SLI configuration of a graphics card which requires minimum 34A per card.

In other words, noone really cares whether you're lying or not and noone cares if you got it to work or not - because you're still misleading people.

my apologize to u and everyone else .is it okay to say a good quality psu with 600w. im just sick of ppl recommending 1000w which is a complete waste of money.

Only GTX200 could make a dream like this comes true. ATI should learn from Nvidia how to make good drivers for a heavy game like Crysis.

Generally the "rated" wattage is irrelevant, its just amperage and connectivity that most people should be concerned with.

I think a good 600w PSU should have enough juice as long as you have the connectors and dont' want to overclock the **** out of your system. I'd still put that as the "minimum" requirement, and i'd likely recommend a PSU with native 4x 6pin pci-e connectors - a lot of 700w-800w models offer that. I know full well that gpu manufacturer's "over-recommend" on the power supply, especially in SLI configurations, but I wouldn't recommend a bare minimum unit that /just/ meets requirements. A little extra headroom is a good thing.
