I'm planning on getting a computer this week, so I'm asking all you Tech Savvy people for some last minute recommending.

First off, I'm not overclocking right away.
Second, I'm not planning on SLI/Crossfire for a while.
Thirdly, I'm getting a monitor, so I want to keep my computer budget Less then $950 or so.

change the 9800 GTX to a 4850 and you're good to go

Looks good to me, quite like my newest built which has a q6600 instead of the E8400.

The only thing that i would say is possibly getting a P35 or something similar as opposed to the Asus p5q as a few months down the line, a new single graphics solution will be out which will be better than two 9800 GTXs, but i ignored this advice myself.

I've heard some good things about the Radeon HD 4850, but for some reason, I'm not really wanting it.

The q6600 was a Quad, right? That was my first option, but I guess I changed,
Im still iffy bout the motherboard.

Not really sure why you'd not want the 4850, there's absolutely no reason to go with that Nvidia card right now at all over it.

you can get x4 gb of 1066 corsair @ 5-5-5-15 for 50$ x2 after rebate (so 100$ for 4 gb of faster ram)

As you will see, it is quite a bit under 1000$ ar, and sub-1000 shipped before rebates.

You will also notice that buying from zzf saves some more money.

You will need to add your optical drive and change the HDDs, and maybe the case if you do not like the one I chose.

It allows for x8-x8 crossfirex in the future if you so desire.

Hmmm, are there any ways that I can save some more money?

And, I decided to go with a x48 Mobo, with a 4850 Video Card.
