This will be the third computer i've built, but my second computer owned. It will be primarily for gaming and 3D animating/rendering, as well as surfing the net, and dling music/videos. Over the past two weeks of research these are the parts i've come up with. Please give me some feedback.

I'm pretty set on most things, however i'm not sure on the monitor as far as color is concerned, i want the best picture available with a very low response rate because i play a lot of FPS games. As well i'm not positive about the Hard drive because i don't know if the 10k rpm will make that much of a difference, plus with the cheaper 7200 rpm hard drive i get 450 more GB's of storage, which is a **** compared to what i have now(120gb ). And my final concern is whether or not the CPU fan will fit inside the antec 900 case with another 120mm fan mounted on the left side of it. Please give me some feedback!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for the 120 fan near the cooler you have to check if the air entering does not enter in conflict with the cooler's fan

I would go with a higher quality PSU, something like this $205.90 after MIR. Coolmax isn't bad but the Corsair is a little higher quality and it's the same price. Newegg usually has some fairly high prices on PSU's so I would look around. Other than that it's a great build I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I was eyeing that PSU on newegg, however it was like 50 more on newegg. It doesn't have HDMI and it's 2 inches smaller, however i like the price more . As for the Western Digital 6400AAKS, it doesn't have a 32mb cache and i think i read something about how anything over 500 gb hd's it's better to have a 32mb cache which the seagate HD has. What will happen if the air from my case runs into the air going into my cpu cooler?

I love your CPU, I am in the process of making a build w/ the q9450. But 3.6 is about the MAX of its OCing range, so it will taking a good amount of tuning to get it stable@3.6

Yeah, i've seen a few postings about people hitting 3.6Ghz but it does seem to be the limit on air cooling. Can some one tell me what's the better monitor the 22" samsung or the 24" acer. What will be the differences between running the 750 GB 7200 RPM 32mb Cache HD compared the faster Velicoraptor 300 GB 10000 RPM HD? Will i see slower load times of things, or slower copy+paste times or what?

I always prefer a 24" over a 22", increased resolution, ability to play 1080p plus just simply more room. All 22" screens are TN panels were the cheaper 24" are TN the more expensive models have better screens. I have a LG L246WP which has a P-MVA screen and it's much better than any TN screen I've seen so the price difference is worth it in my mind.

A 750gb will give you much more storage at a lower cost and the only real difference you will notice with the Raptor is Windows loading faster, programs installing faster and levels in games loading faster.

Where does it specify if a screen is a TN panel? And what are the different types of panels? which offer the best picture quality?
