How can you tell whether you have a slim or standard desktop case, I picked up the HP Pavilion Elite m9250f, http://shopper.cnet.com/desktops/h [...] 34181.html, if that helps anyone?

It looks like a smaller case, probably a micro ATX. However, I think by HP's definition though its a standard case, the "slimline" ones usually have to mount the dvd drive vertically to fit. What are you trying to find out, if a certain pci/e card will fit?
