What stable OC can one expect with this combo on good air cooling?

It probably won't be anything spectacular. Most E6850 can do 3.6ghz stably and with comfortable voltages. If you really want to push it 3.8ghz with higher voltages and more heat.

4ghz is out of the question with air cooling, I've only seen 4ghz E6850 with watercooling.
