Does the AMD 4850e have hadware acceleration if so is there anyware on AMD's webby that shows this but also I know the Intel system will let you run 64bit guest on a 32bit host. Does the AMD have the same possibilities?

All AM2 chips have VM support. The chip doesn't determine that, the VM SW does. I didn't think you could run X64 under a 32bit host. I probably wouldn't though because RAM is handled differently. Maybe a 32bit guest under X64.

I haven't bought the chip yet but hardware virtualisation support is a must for me.

Nik_I I have tryed the 64bit vm on a 32bit host and it does work but I have only tried it on an Intel CPU.

I found a section on wikipedia that show the 4850e having amd-v but I wanted to see that on AMD's webby just to double check.

Any reason for the 45W? Seems a 5000+ is cheaper
