More Information

I have a new motherboard, GA-MA69GM-S2H, and when I installed the board and power up I get the following symptoms:

  • Short beep followed by continous high pitched tone
  • CPU fan slows down to a slow speed
  • No video

I have removed all components and put one sim in a slot with the same results.

Any thoughts on what this might be or what I should try (other than taking the MOBO back)?
