Its 2.4ghz Bluetooth, so If you have a local store that sells bluetooth stuff go and get a usb to bluetooth adapter and give it a shot... if it doesn't recognize it then just return it.

I'm assuming that the bluetooth receiver is built into the keyboard and mouse and you are looking for the adapter that plugs into your pc, is that correct?

yes bc4 that is correct so any brand 2.4ghz bluetooth adapter should work you are sayin?
