Video Card -- HIS
Keyboard -- Logitech G15 maybe (depends on games you play I guess)
Rest looks good. Don't forget a good heatsink compound, MX-2 or OCZ Freeze, something of good quality.

I was thinking G15 but that LCD is what's keeping me back, I'm thinking will I ever put it to good use?

As for Thermal compound AC5 is what i'm getting, also getting that compound remover they sell as well, I suspect the E8400 has thermal grease on it already.

I was thinking HIS, but Sapphire 4870s are back in stock at Newegg.  (:o I shouldn't have said that)

Bumping is heavily frowned upon, and with good reason. I sift through topics regardless of what place they have on the page, so yours didn't get priority regardless. And the forum goers will answer on their own time, thank you.

I built a pretty energy efficient system just a few weeks ago, specs go something like this:

Q9450
ASUS P5K EPU
G. SKILL 4gb (2x2gb) RAM
EVGA 8800GT 512mb
Apevia Telstar Full Tower ATX case
Corsair 620w PSU 80-plus efficient
2x750gb HDD Seagate Barracuda 32mb cache

I think that's about it... the $1500 includes the optical drive, XP Pro, etc. but those are the main specs. Think about something similar.

I have a Razer Tarantula and Lachesis.  Both serve me well, but as for your keyboard it depends on what types of games you play (MMO vs FPS, etc). Some keyboards are better than others for macros, or comfortable fast play, or whatever. Do your research based on what you want.

Intel qx9650 + EVGA 780i SLI mobo
EVGA 8800GT 512mb, OCZ DDR2 1066MHz 4gb
OCZ 850W PSU, WD 500GB SATA HDD (x2) CM Stacker 830 SE
Sound setup: FireFace 800, JBL 4328 speakers

I only bump after a time, I don't do it every 10 minutes. :D

I'll probably get the deathadder, 4000dpi is way to much, and i've heard of issues with laser mice with fast paced games.
