Hi!

I recently bought Radeon 4870. I want to buy another 4870(so i will have CrossFire).
Now I don't know what is better. To wait for 4870 x2 and sell this one, or to buy another 4870 and go CrossFire.
I have to decide what to do next.

Thanks.
m.

Since there aren't any benchmarks out no one knows but I would imagine that the X2 will out perform the 4870 in crossfire. What motherboard do you have?

X38 will run crossfire just fine. Still, if rumors are true, the X2 scales as a single gpu, and should outperform 4870 cf. Besides, you can get another one for quad cf.

my freind was in the exact situation you are in man
but he just bought the 4870 anyways

Its hard to tell whether crossfire or x2 would be better since there are no benchmarks
but i would say they perform the same....
