Hey there. Im a long time reader of the forums but never needed to post up until now. Thought you guys would be kind enough to help me out.
Im considering buying a Xigmatek HDT-S1283 for my old sweaty E6600 but im not sure if the cooler will fit onto my P5N32-E sli mobo. It should just have enough clearance over the NB but im worried that it will interfere with the 8 pin ATX12v cable as it goes in pretty close to the cpu.

Anyone have any experience with this combo? Cheers

I owned a P5N32-SLI Premium, unfortunatly, with an Arctic Cooling 7 Freezer Pro cooler and it fit like a glove. The layout of the two boards are really close and I think the base of the AC7 is similar in size to that of the S1283. So I would think you are going to have enough clearance.

Cool thanks for the advice. I think the S1283 is a little longer than the AC7 though so im still a little concerned about it blocking the ATX12v connector though. Can anyone clarify this?
