I started off with a THERMALTAKE TOUGHPOWER 700W. It was quiet but I needed a near-silent one like my Coolermaster Extreme power 380W downstairs on another PC.

Point blank - Enermax Liberty 500w or 620, these are as quiet as you can get (but you may have to grease the fan drum with tamiya high viscosity grease).

I use a Zalman ZM850-HP with a 140mm fan and heatpipes. It is really quiet! At least it is one of the quietest in any review! You could even mod it i guess to be even more silent! --------------- With great power comes great responsibility |

It sounds like you want a fanless power supply. Newegg has one, but it doesn't sound like that would help.

So Tagan OEMs from Seasonic? I thought they were primarily Topower units. Do you have any links to back up this claim? Message edited by Zorg on 08-08-2008 at 07:20:51 AM |
