I'm trying to build a budget build for my bro, and now im in a fix as to which card to choose between the 3850 and the 9600 GSO. I know that the 3850 has more avaialble video memory and bandwidth, but dont know for sure if that would give it any advantage against the GSO? Looking at the following:

The first one's a 3850 and the rest three are 9600 GSO's :pfff:

what resolution... but i'd reccomend getting a 8800 gts ... you can get them for dirt cheap now and they are still great cards

who said anything about resolution? umm well sure one could go for that card the 8800gts but feels weird? after rebate and 119 while the similar MSI cards are at 170-190. Not sure about the manufacturer Zotac either

And yes, it can run Crysis.

8800 gts is the superior card but the 9600 gso or 8800 gs will perform better than the 3850.
