Hi, I just bought myself a new HDD for my computer. It's a SATA disc. I have installed it and everything but i can't find it in Windows but I can see it in BIOS. I have downloaded some drivers for SATA RAID from Epox website and i got VIAMRAID.SYS VIAMRAID.CAT and VIAMRAID.CAT. When I hover over the .sys fil it says "VIA RAID DRIVER FOR WIN XP" so i figured that's the driver but I don't know how to install it.

Motherboard: Epox EP-8k9a7i
Windows: XP Pro SP2

Can anyone please help me?

copy the file to a floppy disk
when you start installing windows xp hit f6
