I purchased a new motherboard and currently having problems with not getting a display, no beeps, and no post, but the system turns on fans running etc... The motherboard is XFX MG-61Mi-7059 Motherboard - nForce 610i/7050, Socket 775, MicroATX.

I have tested all the hardware on my main computer, ram, graphics card, processor, power supply, and harddrive work fine. So far I have narrowed it down to things, first the power connections on the power supply is 24pin and 8pin, and the motherboard has 24pin and 4pin. The other problem is the processor doesn't create heat at all. So I'm guessing that its a power problem to the processor due to the 8pin connection?

Ok man here is the deal on the issue that you are having! I bought the same package from tiger direct and same issue. You see there is a jumper right by the battery for your cmos. It comes with the jumper set to 1 and 2. What you need to do is go and put the jumper to 2 and 3. XFX for some reason released some boards with the wrong cmos settings. So when you have set it to 2 and 3 turn your system on and you should see the boot screen. Once you see the boot screen shut her down one more time and set the jumper back to pins 1 and 2. Now your cmos is cleared and you are ready to go!
