Hi,

Last night my sound was working perfect through the speakers and headset. This morning I noticed my sound is not coming out through speakers. I have not updated or done anything to sound or installed any new software on the computer.

I tried:
Reinstalling drivers
checking settings through audio programs and sound card settings
used sound through headset USB (works fine)
Restore to a previous working windows settings

I'm in the hole here and can't figure out what the problem is. I'm about to format my computer just to fix this stupid problem. I hope I'm not pushed in that direction it would take me days to save documents and wipe my computer clean.

Can anyone help me?

What program were you running the last time you heard sound come through your speakers?

This is gonna sound insain.... have your system booted up and running, unplug it from the wall and boot it back up.

Edit: Also check your physical connections (power to the speakers check the outlet, check to see if your cables got kicked out)

I've checked all cables and they're plugged. Still no sound but when I use the I/O and plug my headphones i can hear music.

Hang on, I just turned off and on my subwoofer and now when i play a song I can only hear bass coming out but no music sound.

Is it possible to unplug your monitors from your sub and test them separately?

No they're wired with red and black no other subwoofer in the house I can plug them to.

Offhand, it sounds like there might be a loose connection in your subwoofer leading out to the main monitors. Since yours is an amplified sub, and if there is a fuse access, you might want to see if the fuse needs replacing. Otherwise, this sounds like a job for a soldering gun.
