Hello everyone,

I am building a new rig for myself for some light gaming/video editing. I have a Q6600 CPU, on a GA-G31M-S2L motherboard (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128078) , for the memory, i was wondering whether I could use RAM with a normal voltage of 2.1 V, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820227267

Answers would be much appreciated

There are modules on their that run at more than 1.8v.

These are listed from OCZ at 2.0v.

I have a GA-G33M-S2L and have used that exact same memory (OCZ Reapers at 2.1v). That memory can also be run at 1.8 (at 400mhz 5-5-5-18) according to the SPD's, if I remember correctly. You only need 2.1 for 4-4-4-12 @400.

The bios has the same options for voltage as the GA-P35 (+0.0v to +0.4v). I have both the GA-G33M-S2L and the GA-P35-DS3L and the BIOS has the same voltage options.
