Hello guys, I am facing problems with my Abit IP35 Pro motherboard...It beeps continuously..sort of like a siren

On boot it reads checksum error and asks to press F1 to continue or Del to Enter Bios..the code on the mobo reads 7F but hangs after clicking F1

It cannot read the Hard drive though and only entered bios after I cleared the CMOS several times..I managed to stop the beeping only after disabling it from the BIOS..after which the code changed to FF which is fine..However if I enable the beep on error in the bios..the beeping starts again and the code reads 7 F and hangs

Please Help, Ive been sitting on it for 2 days with no luck,

Thanks

I've got the same problem. I checked the temperatures and got really stunned when the CPU was @ 250C ??? Well thats probably not true, the fan is mounted correctly and the other chassi fans is going on high. So I just unchecked the "warning beep" and no more siren :). Actually it is good to being warned for high temperatures, but as the BIOS says the computer should shutdown with CPU over 80C, and mine is on 130 now so its a wild guess that the chipset got a little bit of reading problems.
