Recently ran into a problem when I connect an External Hard drive to one of my USB 2 ports. O/S Msg appears ID'g the external drive being connected, but then the screen goes blank, But power to the tower stays on :pt1cable: . I have to turn power switch off and then back on to reboot. This doesn't occur when I connect a Flash USB drive. :sarcastic: . I am thinking maybe I have to reload mb drivers or maybe the computer needs more Power. Currently have a 500W P/S. Any ideas as to what maybe causing this problem , BIOS Setting :pt1cable: . Thanks for your input
