I have an ASUS A8N-SLI board With the 939 Amd 4200 with 2 GB ddr400 Ram and a Nvidia 6600gt. Looking to upgrade to a new video card and am kinda lost here. I need to make sure to pick a card to work and have been looking at newegg trying to find the best one. First off can I not run PCI-E 2.0? I was looking at a EVGA 8800gt but I think its 2.0. Any help in the right direction would help a ton. Thanks in advance.

8800GT will work fine.  PCIE 2.0 capable cards are backwards compatible to your ASUS A8N-SLI MB. Any PCIE 16 card is fine as far as compatibility.
