4 x DIMM, Max. 8 GB, DDR2 1066/800/667/533 ECC,Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory
Dual Channel memory architecture
*DDR2 1066 is supported by AM2+ CPU only
**When installing total memory of 4GB capacity or more, Windows® 32-bit operation system may only recognize less than 3GB. Hence, a total installed memory of less than 3GB is recommended.

There are 4 memory slots. They can be all installed for up to 8GB. Speeds must be 1066 or slower. My guess is there is some limitation to memory config. i.e. With 4 slots filled, the speed will be 800mhz to be prime stable.

Or click QVL download on that page. This list is the ram tested to be ok with the board by ASUS. You'll be guarranteed that the ram will work in this board.

Don't know what you mean by that. I think you meant to say Hypertransport (HTT) which is the same as FSB for Intel.

200Mhz HTT x 12.5 multiplier = 2.5Ghz

To overclock Phenom, up the HTT/FSB frequency from 200 to anything. Most would up this by 30mhz and do memtest (google) until it fails memtest, then they would back down to previous setting. Other settings may have to be changed. i.e. cpu, nb & hypertransport (HTT) voltage.

It's very time consuming. The Phenom overclockers prefer AMD Overdrive for Windows that lets you overclock the pc in Windows. You can do the same as above by changing the parameters. It can lock up. I think you can get up to 300mhz overclock out of your setup.

Use orthosx2 to stress test your overclocks. 8 hours would be considered stable. If it crashes or freezes up, back down your overclock or up the voltages a notch.

I don't have all the answers to o/c'ing Phenom. It takes time. You have to try it out yourself. If you need more help on this:
