I was just looking at the photos of the P5Q and it looks rather... small. My VGA is a factory OCed 8800GT, so the heatsink and the fan are a bit big. Here is a photo...

I am having concerns that It might not fit, or that it would block the PCI slots and I won't have room to put in my sound card. Any one have one of these boards and can tell me if they are roomy enough?

Yes, it will fit on the motherboard, but it will block one slot directly below the pciex16 slot that it's plugged into.

 

Also, that $230 price tage for 8800gt is horrible. You can get a better performing g92 8800gts for $120 after mir.
