Help!!! Set up bios for Raid0, seen both drives. Started to load XP pro sp2. Choice between xp drivers for raid and the floppy tried both ways. Still end up BSOD after partial xp install. Seems to be a driver conflict. Any thoughts would be appreciated

Is your DVD/CD drive SATA? If so, you need to set up boot order to this drive which is named with part of the drive model. i.e. mine is read as "P4-LG-DVD...." instead of DVD. CDROM won't load anything.

BIOS, Integrated Peripherals, OnChip IDE Device, my settings are:

RAID
DISABLED
ENABLED
RAID+IDE

Or you can ask these guys:

CD-ROMS are both IDE, I can load WinXP Pro completely with Original WinXP and everything works great including RAID 0...But when I go to load WinXP SP2 (which is mine, the original XP is not) it will bsod as soon as it starts to load win after you hit F6 to load the ICH9R Driver, you do not even get to the part where you hit F8 to agree to service or pick your partition...Thanks

I finally figured it out.....Do Not use a copy of Dell XP. There is a conflict between xp and ICH9R. Used an XP OEM and all went fine.
