Hi all.

I am very close to buying an Nvidia 790i but looking on Toms Hardware I noticed that the 790i has RAID problems (See link below)

http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/x48- [...] 11-20.html

I'm thinking of getting 2x WD Velociraptor 300GB (100MB/Sec average, singular drive) and if the motherboard cannot exceed 100mb/sec then there is no point going for raid.

I informally heard that the 790i problem has been fixed with a new bios revision. Can someone please confirm this, or has it been fixed another way.... or not at all?

Reason I ask is I will stick to either a single drive, or buy an x48

Not a problem for a stock pc, but corruption may occur when the cpu is overclocked.
