More Information

The new bios from abit ax78 is available. Download it and since I dont have floppy drive, I try to flash it using usb flash drive. Restart computer and 'invalid or damaged boot partition' appear while booting. And yes I already set the usb as the first boot sequence in advance bios setting. I'm thinking flashing it in windows but theres a post said that 'dont flash in windows!'. Before this my msi mobo can be flashing using window mode without any problem. So can I flash this abit mobo in windows or what are needed to flash my mobo using usb since this is my first time to flash using it. Any advice really appriciated.
Thanks.

you can flash in Windows using FlashMenu but it's usually recommended not to as flashing in Windows is inherently riskier (& you'll find similar info to this on Asus, DFI & MSI forums at least).

As for how to do it from an USB memory stick http://forum.abit-usa.com/showthread.php?t=121953
