I have been doing some research on both the E2160 and E2180 to figure out which one is better to O/C.  I have seen recommendations for both, but this was when they had a price difference of $10-$15. As of today, Newegg has the E2160 at $68.99 and the E2180 $69.99. Which of the two am I better off with? What advantages do I get with the E2160 over the E2180 and vice versa? Also, should I consider the E2200 which has a price of $78.99? Any advantages going that route? Thanks!

Note: This is for a budget computer.

I think the only differences between the three procs is the multiplier.  The 2160 uses a 9 multi, 2180 a 10, and 2200 an 11.

I'd probably go with the E2180 as it should OC slightly higher than the E2160 for $1 more.  I don't think I'd bother with the E2200 since you'll only get a slightly higher OC for a ~12% increase in price.

I have nothing witty to say.
