Hi, I don't really know much about motherboards and am hoping to upgrade my processor from this http://techreport.pricegrabber.com [...] roduct_tab to this http://techreport.pricegrabber.com [...] roduct_tab but am not sure if my motherboard will support it. My motherboard is currently a 939 pin socket, and so is the chip I'm using and hoping to get. The processor I'm going to purchase has a fan and heatsink with it too.

It should say on the board itself, normally near the middle or the expansion slots.
