can get memory voltage to stay at 2.3v!!

i have 2gb dominator memory and ip35 pro mobo,
i am having problems trying to boot up, keep geting "c1" error, so i put in my flatsmates memeory and change the voltage to 2.3v, and reset the computor and put my ram in and it boots up.
this worked fine for around 4 days or something, then after turning my computer off it would not boot again, "c1 error". so i tryed booted up with my mates ram again and noticed the voltage changed to 1.8 again. and every time i change the voltage to 2.3 restart the computer and put my ram back in it wont boot and gives the c1 error. and ussing my flatmats ram i can see that the voltage has gone back to 1.8.
so how can i get the voltage to stay at 2.3v?
also i was able to go through this process and boot with one stick of my ram, which makes me think theres a problem with one of my sticks, but if i can't boot with it then i wont be able to run a memory test!
any ideas

Sounds like a BIOS update might fix this.
